Hands on 19th Century Art History

Learn about artist from the 19th century like Prud'hon, Monet, and van Gogh. Students will learn how artists from this time period changed the way the world viewed art. Hands on painting activities will enhance each students' knowledge of individual artists and the progression of art.

Students will be taken on a journey through time through the eyes of artists from the Ancient, Renaissance and Modern art eras. Hands on painting activities will enhance each students' knowledge of individual artists and the progression of art.

Not just an 'arts and craft' class,
HomeSchoolArt at the Firehouse
is a program tailored for the home schooled student.

Three week sessions focus on fine arts education,
one medium at a time.
Classes include watercolor, drawing,
ceramics, art history and photography.

Students from ages 5 to 18 are invited to learn the basics of art.
The size of each class varies with the subject.
